Hello, My name is Dominic Kenning, I am 21 years old and work for a company called Pigsty Racing, we build one off Austin 7 race cars, engines, gearboxes, running gear and much more. It is a really good job, this is because it is something different, and not very many people get the chance to do this type of job. I started to be interested in cars from a young age when my dad was restoring his MGB, I also helped as much as I could with an engine conversion, from a 1800cc 4 cylinder to a 3600cc Rover V8. (please see the Links page) I have been learning lots since. I had always been into my Minis and got one for my 17th birthday present, unfortunately it was involved in an accident in 2009 when someone didnt stop in a queue of traffic. This is when my first project arrived (see The Mini page). I started at East Surrey College in 2008, I successfully completed a Level 3 National Diploma in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair (aimed at motor sport). While I was at college I was chatting to a friend who used to help me with my Mini, he worked at Pigsty Racing and I managed to get in to do some practical work experience, now I am working there full time.
